Accessibility Statement

Accessibility Statement

EMBR is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We believe everyone should be able to shop for a ring built for their next adventure, and we are continually improving the experience for all of our customers and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Our commitment

We want as many people as possible to be able to use embr.com. That means you should be able to:

  • Navigate and browse our store using a keyboard alone.
  • Use the site with a screen reader or other assistive technology.
  • Read text clearly, with sufficient color contrast and the ability to resize text in your browser.
  • Reduce or remove non-essential motion and animation using your device or browser settings.
  • Reach a real person if any part of the site gets in your way.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. They define three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

embr.com is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conformant" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully conform to the accessibility standard. We are actively working to reach full Level AA conformance across the site.

What we are doing

To help make embr.com accessible, we:

  • Conduct regular accessibility reviews using both automated tools and manual testing, including keyboard-only and screen-reader checks.
  • Remediate the issues we find, and re-test after changes are made.
  • Work to include accessibility considerations as part of how we build and update the site.
  • Engage with the third-party apps and services we use and ask them to improve the accessibility of their tools.

Known limitations

Despite our best efforts, some limitations remain. We are aware of the following and are working to resolve them:

  • Some content and interactive features provided by third-party applications (for example, product reviews, live chat, and marketing pop-ups) may not fully meet our accessibility standards. We are working with these providers to improve them.
  • Some older content or promotional imagery may not yet include complete text alternatives.

If you encounter something that is not listed here, please let us know using the contact details below — your feedback helps us prioritize what to fix next.

Compatibility

embr.com is designed to be compatible with recent versions of the major web browsers (Chrome, Safari, Firefox, and Edge) on both desktop and mobile devices, used together with common assistive technologies such as screen readers (including VoiceOver, NVDA, and JAWS) and browser zoom. The site is not designed for use with Internet Explorer or other browsers that are no longer supported.

How we assess accessibility

EMBR assesses the accessibility of embr.com through a combination of self-evaluation, automated testing tools (such as Google Lighthouse and axe), and manual testing, including keyboard navigation and screen-reader review.
